Nicole L. Donnelly, Esq. / Partner
Nicole is a Partner with SJL Attorney Search, joining the organization in 2007 after several years as a practicing attorney and then in the recruiting department of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. Prior to moving into her role as partner at SJL Attorney Search, Nicole headed up SJL’s Associate Placement Group.
Fusing her multi-dimensional perspectives, Nicole has successfully partnered with international, national and boutique law firms, as well as investment funds, financial institutions, and private and public companies, in hiring top legal talent across all levels of seniority. She looks for opportunities to share her knowledge, taking a career counseling approach to the attorneys with whom she works, and has advised law students at Harvard, Yale, Stanford and Northwestern with respect to their OCI processes. In addition to her published articles, Nicole has spoken on panels sponsored both by law schools and the City Bar Association and has presented programs at major industry events, including NALP.
Nicole earned her B.A. cum laude from Villanova University and her J.D. from Washington College of Law of American University. She is an avid football fan – Go Giants! – and enjoys anywhere with a beach, training for triathlons and road races, and catching up on her DVR'd shows/Netflix series when time allows.
