My client, one of the top firms in New York, is looking to hire a Legal Content Writer. The Primary Duties and Responsibilities are:
Work with the Partners and Business Development Senior Team to identify and track key legal developments impacting the Firm’s clients, including private equity firms, investment banks and publicly traded corporations, concerning Delaware corporate law, mergers and acquisitions related disputes, corporate governance and other pertinent topics.
Develop and produce high quality written materials; specifically, draft timely client advisories on key court decisions, regulatory updates and other substantive content for clients of the Firm, both written and digital
Assist with content development for client CLEs, bylines, and other writing projects
Provide drafting and editorial support for other business development projects across the Firm as needed
Assist with leveraging of content, both existing and newly created, across print and digital platforms
The ideal candidate should have three to five years of litigation experience at a top law firm and the ability to produce top-notch written content. Excellent business writing and editing skills are also key. As you will be interacting with partners and business development staff, you must be able to present yourself professionally and handle time sensitive matters. In addition, you will be expected to act independently and be able to see project through with minimal oversight.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to shift their focus from practicing as a litigator to focusing on some of the intellectual aspects of the intersection between litigation and corporate world. For more information, contact Andrea Fisher.
